For the second time this year, a College Station man is in jail after he is arrested for calling 9-1-1 and intentionally remaining silent.

The Bryan police arrest report says 38 year old Julian Mcafee on October 10th called 9-1-1 five times when there was not an emergency and not talking with dispatchers.

The incident began when three Bryan police officers responded to an area west of Midtown Park for an unknown problem.

The arrest report says Mcafee made a total of 20 calls. Dispatchers answered 14 times, with the other six disconnecting before dispatchers could answer.

Mcafee remains jailed as of October 16th in lieu of a $2,000 dollar bond.

Online court records show Mcafee was arrested by Bryan police on the same charge March 24th and he pleaded guilty to the misdemeanor offense June 4th. Online records show he served 72 days of a 100 day sentence before he was released from jail June 4th.
