A College Station man awaiting three criminal trials returned to jail Monday on a variety of charges.

Bryan police, following a citizen’s tip, arrested 27 year old Tyler Hannath on charges of selling methamphetamine.

According to the BPD arrest report, Hannath told officers there was “dope” in the SUV where he was a passenger.

The vehicle owner gave permission for officers to do a search, where they found three ounces of meth, a scale, and more than $2,100 dollars cash.

Hannath was also arrested on seven warrants associated with the three pending criminal trials.

Two trials and six charges are from an incident in January, where he is accused of leading officers on a chase in a stolen vehicle that ended in a head on collision.

The third trial accuses him of driving a stolen vehicle last August.

Hannath was in the Brazos County jail Tuesday afternoon in lieu of bonds totaling $73,000 dollars.
