A College Station woman shows police 2,200 text messages sent by the same man during a 12 day period last month (March 2024).

That led College Station police to making an arrest Monday (April 8) on a harassment charge.

The CSPD police arrest report says on March 14th, an officer responding to a disturbance involving the man, the woman, and the woman’s mother was shown 90 text messages that the man sent the woman.

On March 26th, the same officer returned to the woman’s apartment where the officer found more than 2,100 texts on her phone.

The officer asked the woman if she had initiated any contact with the man before the second round of texts and she said she had not.

42 year old Jerome Brown of College Station remains in jail as of April 11th in lieu of a $20,000 dollar bond.

And online court records show Brown is awaiting two trials on misdemeanor criminal trespassing charges after being ordered to stay away from College Station’s Baylor Scott & White hospital that took place in November of 2023.
