College Station Historical Preservation Committee Presents Its 13th Business Marker

The city of College Station’s historic preservation committee presented its 13th marker for a business at the last city council meeting.

Committee chairman Gerald Burgner noted the recipient, A&M United Methodist Church, is celebrating its centennial.

The church, which was founded by a group of Texas A&M students, opened its original building in 1923. The current building has been in use since 1951.
