Tuesday morning update:
The College Station fire department posted on its Facebook page Tuesday morning that the family was displaced as the result of a cooking fire, which resulted in moderate damage to their home.

College Station firefighters spent part of Monday evening at a house fire near South Knoll school.
Tweets from CSFD reported the kitchen fire on Langford Street near Southwest Parkway did not state the cause or if the family was displaced.
It took about five minutes to take care of the main part of the fire, and about 35 minutes to declare the fire was totally extinguished.
No injuries were reported.
