College Station’s 75th birthday is coming up in the fall, and Historical Records Coordinator Jacob Morris says, now’s the time to add your family’s history to the celebration.
The tentative date for the celebration is November 15 through 16, and the city is asking residents to share photos, stories, and memorabilia to preserve that history that makes the city special.
Morris says they will scan and return photos, and some items will be used as part of a special exhibit at the Bush Library.
He says recorded stories and scanned images will be added to the city’s historic online database.
