College Station Citizen Survey Results

The city of College Station conducted a citizen survey in April, and results were presented at last week’s city council meeting.

A variety of participants, which included college students, renters and home owners, were asked to rate various city services, quality of life issues and community characteristics, and to rank their priorities.

Colin Killian, Communications and Marketing Specialist, said he was impressed by the participation, which was a 236% increase from the last survey in 2012.

Traffic congestion was the respondents’ biggest priority and concern, followed by street and road maintenance.

Improvements were made in several categories compared to the 2012 survey, and College Station stacked up well against peer cities.
