Tuesday night is the first of three forums for College Station residents to recommend capital project ideas to a 23 member bond committee.

Chairman Rod Thornton says the committee is looking for suggestions as the city continues its rapid growth.

The committee, which has met four times, will recommend projects to the city council as part of a bond election this November.

Each forum addresses one of three specific areas being developed by bond subcommittees.

Tuesday night, the focus is on city facilities.

Wednesday night, the subject is parks and leisure.

And roads and other transportation issues will be discussed March 23rd.

All three forums will be held in the College Station Utilities training facility on Graham Road, starting at 7.

For those who can’t attend, Thornton invites residents to e-mail their thoughts to 2015bond@cstx.gov.
