Residents living in 16 units of a College Station apartment complex were displaced following a fire Monday afternoon.
The College Station fire department reported no injuries from the call to Campus Crossing apartments on Marion Pugh.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Upon arrival, firefighters reported heavy fire coming from the front of the first floor of the two story building.
The fire spread to the second story and the attic space.
The fire was brought under control within 30 minutes.
CSFD reports 16 residents will be assisted by their community action response team (CART), the Red Cross, and apartment management.
A total of 37 people from 12 fire and EMS units were on the scene, representing the College Station and Bryan fire departments, College Station police, CART, and College Station Utilities.
