College Station And Texas A&M Police Looking For Northgate Armed Robbery Suspects

College Station and Texas A&M police (UPD) are looking for suspects in armed robberies that took place during the middle of the day Friday in the Northgate district.

UPD issued a news release about one of the robberies, which was reported shortly after 11 a.m. at a construction site on Hensel Drive.

After one of two men got out of a white four door car and asked for directions, the victim said the suspect pointed a semi automatic handgun and demanded the victim’s wallet.

When the victim yelled, he was struck above the eye with the gun and the man got back in the car and headed south on Texas Avenue.

The victim was treated at the scene for his injuries.

The description of the man who struck the victim is a tall, slender male, light-skinned, approximately 5’11’, with curly, dark hair in a pony tail, wearing black pants and a black shirt.

The driver of the suspect vehicle was a male.

According to an A&M Code Maroon alert, there was also an armed robbery involving two armed men at Northpointe Crossing apartments.

Quoting an A&M Code Maroon alert dated Friday at 12:18 p.m., “University Police is currently working with the College Station Police Department to search for two armed males that were last seen leaving the area near Hensel Street and Northepointe Crossing in a white four-door car.

If you are in these areas, please pay attention to your surroundings and report suspicious activity to local law enforcement by calling 9-1-1.”
