COCS Anonymous Employee Phone Line

The City of College Station has implemented a new phone line to help employees report problems without fear of retaliation.

Click to hear WTAW’s Chris Clift talk with City Auditor Ty Elliott:

Elliott says the goal of the program is not to watch over employees more closely, but to offer them an alternative way to report bad situations.

The anonymous tip line will cost the city about $1,000 per year to operate.

The new phone line program has been up and running since early July.

So far there have been no complaints called in.
