Texas A&M Police Increase Patrols Around Hensel Park
Texas A&M police (UPD) increases its presence around Hensel Park. An alert posted on UPD’s social media says an anonymous tip was received Wednesday night (June 12) through Brazos County Crime Stoppers that two men attempted to lure underage high school kids into the wooded area of Hensel Park. Officers did not find suspicious activity and anyone with information is asked to contact UPD. The alert also had a reminder to not go into secluded areas with someone you do not know and stay in populated and well lit areas.

College Station ISD Sets Up Online Form For Public Speakers At School Board Meetings
The June 18th College Station ISD school board meetings are the first since deciding to change its procedure for public speakers. That means those wishing to speak have until Monday at 10 a.m. to sign up. CSISD’s website has a registration form that requires speakers to disclose the topic they want to address, whether or not it is on the agenda. There is no change in the amount of time a public speaker is given. The updated policy includes public speakers referring to individuals by name.
