City of College Station Hosting First Ever “Monarch March”

The city of College Station is preparing for the annual arrival of monarch butterflies.

Virginia Godwin at the city’s parks and recreation department says their first ever “monarch march” is Sunday afternoon…rain or shine…from one until four at Lick Creek Park’s nature center.

You are also invited to stop at the parks office inside Central Park or either of the city’s nature centers to pick up free packets of wildflower seeds for creating a butterfly habitat.
