Two Bryan men arrested Christmas Eve 2009 for an armed robbery in College Station are in or headed to prison.

20 year old Rodderick Gilbert entered a guilty plea this week in Brazos County District Court.  He was sentenced to 10 years.

Last January, 20 year old Daniel Cooks also entered a guilty plea and was sentenced to 3 years.  Court records indicate Cooks is being considered for parole.

College Station Police received a report the armed robbery the early morning of Christmas Eve in 2009 in the 1300 block of Barthelow of a woman being chased by a man with a rifle. A second victim was located and advised Gilbert and Cooks approached his apartment with a rifle, pointed the gun at him and ordered them inside the apartment. Instead, the victims ran. Officers found Gilbert and Cooks hiding in a nearby vehicle and the rifle was recovered. No one was hurt.
