Chamber of Commerce Holds Annual Banquet

The Bryan/College Station business community came together Monday night for the Chamber of Commerce annual banquet.

Three annual awards were presented; Citizen of the Year to Ben Hardeman, Volunteer of the Year to Jim Mazurkiewicz, and Ambassador of the Year to Hans Hammond.

The banquet speaker was A&M President Bowen Loftin, who was presented a proclamation by the Chamber board for his involvement.

 

Special recognition was given to past chairman Ben Downs, who served two years in that position.

Downs and new chairman Glen Brewer addressed the capacity crowd at the Hilton.
