Investigators are following leads in the shooting deaths of three calves south of Buffalo.
Special Ranger Brent Mast with the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association says two of the calves were killed in the middle of the night.
Mast says the two calves shot early Monday morning were located on FM 831, south of Buffalo, and approximately 2.5 miles east of Highway 75.
Mast said another calf was found shot in the head in the same area, but that shooting occurred a few days prior. Authorities believe that the two shootings are connected.
Anyone with information on the case should contact Mast at (936) 714-9066 or the Leon County Sheriff’s office at (903) 536-2749.
