Cammile Adams Earned a Trip to World Championships

INDIANAPOLIS – Texas A&M senior-to-be Cammile Adams earned a trip to the 2013 FINA World Championships with her victory in the 200-meter butterfly at the Phillips 66 National Championships and World Championships Trials at the IUPUI Natatorium on Tuesday. Adams, from Cypress, Texas, punched her ticket to Barcelona, Spain with a winning time of 2:08.10. The FINA World Championships will be contested July 16-Aug. 4. Last year, Adams won the 200 fly at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials and represented the U.S. at the 2012 Olympic. Adams finished fifth in the 200 fly in London, which was the highest individual finish ever by a current member of the Texas A&M squad at the Olympics.
