BV Museum Optimistic About Shuttle

The new year brings the hope of a retired space shuttle landing in College Station.

The executive director of the Brazos Valley Museum, Deborah Cowman, says NASA could make an announcement later this year.

Zach Cummings, who started a Facebook campaign last summer that now has over 5,000 fans, is on the museum’s staff.

President George H.W. Bush has also assisted with a public service announcement.

The Brazos Valley Museum is vying for one of three shuttles NASA plans to retire to qualified schools and scientific institutions.
