Three College Station police officers were injured Tuesday night while running down and capturing a local man wanted for aggravated sexual assault of child. Two patrolmen and a detective were treated for minor injuries and were cleared to return to work. 26 year old Shelton Denson was taken to the Brazos County jail on the arrest warrant as well as an additional charge of evading arrest. According to the arrest report, Denson ran from his apartment on Dominik past Stallings and was found in the area of Munson and Hardwood.
College Station police also arrested a mother and her adult son on assault charges following a fight Tuesday night at their home. 18 year old De’Anthony Williams is accused of cutting her mother on the forearm with a knife. That’s after 32 year old Kashika Williams struck her son in the head with a six foot long tree branch that was three inches in diameter. According to the arrest report, another member of the household witnessed the fight between the mother, who is listed at 5 feet 2 and 198 pounds…and her son, who is listed at 5-10 and 290.
