Entergy reported power was restored shortly before 1 p.m.
The outage was reported around 8:30 a.m.
The source of the outage was a broken wire on a line along Highway 21 east of Cooks Point.

A power outage in Burleson County Wednesday morning has affected 2,000 Entergy customers.
Entergy’s outage map as of 10 a.m. showed the outage includes Caldwell and developments to the west, and south along Highway 36 that includes Lyons and Somerville.
An Entergy spokesperson says a high voltage line is down. Its location and the cause are under investigation.
Depending on the amount of work that needs to be done, Entergy estimates the restoration time at 2 p.m.
