Bryan School Board Hires Consultants And Awards Contract For More Projects Approved In May 2019 Bond Election

The Bryan school board awarded more contracts at their last meeting that’s connected to the $12 million dollar bond issue approved by voters in May.

Construction manager Paul Buckner says contracts for design and engineering consulting includes replacing roofs at the SFA library, Neal elementary, and the education support center, along with fencing, keycard readers, and security cameras at various campuses.

The board also awarded a $350,000 dollar contract that adds a protective glazing over security vestibules at all campuses, including the new technical education center. Buckner says the contractor expects to be completed before the start of the new school year.
