Bryan School Board Exploring Camera Installation Project With The City Of Bryan

The last meeting of the Bryan school board included discussion of adding cameras to provide security around facilities that are used by the district and the city of Bryan.

Board member Felicia Benford says the idea of adding cameras outside the Bryan aquatic center and Merrill Green stadium was discussed at the last city-school meeting.

Board president Mark McCall added superintendent Christie Whitbeck has met with Bryan police.

This is in addition to Bryan ISD voters last May approving $2.6 million dollars in bonds, and possibly being asked next May to approve another $8.5 million on safety and security measures.
