Right out of CSI 101, a stocking cap left behind following a convenience store robbery in Bryan leads to a DNA test and the identification of a suspect.
It took longer than a 60 minute t-v show to get the results…in this case three months for the lab results to come back…but there’s been an arrest.
43 year old Marvin Jackson of Bryan is accused of the March 20th holdup of the Easy Shop on south College Avenue.
The victim told investigators the robber covered his head with a black plastic bag and was wearing a stocking cap. After taking $1,000 from the register, the store clerk said the suspect bumped his head on the overhead cigarette holder and the robber lost his cap.
A DNA sample was taken
