Bryan Residents Asked To Participate In Developing The Next Comprehensive and Parks Master Plans

For the next year, Bryan residents and businesspeople are invited to participate in the process of determining the city’s future development plans.

An online survey has been created as part of the data being collected by consultants hired by the city council.

The project manager, Wendy Shabay, sees two key things happening in Bryan over the next 25 years. One is addressing growth outside Bryan’s current city limits. She says that has to be balanced with improvements inside the city limits.

The consultant was hired to create three plans. In addition to Bryan’s overall development there will be a master plan for city parks. And there will be a subplan for the area around Blinn College’s new west campus at FM 2818 and Leonard Road.
