Bryan Police To Receive Bodycams Soon

Bryan police officers will be wearing body cameras by the end of January.

Police chief Eric Buske told the city council the contract calls for replacing the equipment twice during the next five years for all 143 officers.

The $872,590 contract approved by the council Tuesday breaks down to an initial expense of $200,000 dollars followed by an annual fee to store the recordings and licensing.
