UPDATE: Bryan Police Announce Runaway Has Been Found

Friday update from Bryan police:

Luna Curtiss was located this evening in Austin and is safe.

We thank the community for helping the police department and family in getting the word out.

The Bryan Police Department need your help in locating a 16 year old girl.

Luna Eve Curtiss is a 16 year old white female approximately 5’2” 115 lbs. with blonde Hair and hazel eyes.

She was last ween wearing a black shirt over pink tank top, blue jeans and black/pink shoes.

Luna Curtiss left her residence on Vinewood Dr on Sunday July 30 at around 11:30pm and was reported to us as a runaway on July 31st. The Criminal Investigation Division has exhausted all leads. Luna Curtiss family and friends have not heard from her or know where she may be. We are asking for the public’s help in locating her.

Penal Code 25.06 states that a person commits an offense if they knowingly harbor a child and they are criminally negligent about whether the child:

1) Is younger than 18 years of; and 2) Is voluntarily absent from the child’s home without consent of the child’s parent or guardian for a substantial length of time or without the intent to return. This offense is a Class A misdemeanor punishable by a confinement for term not to exceed 1 year in county jail and/or a fine not to exceed $4,000.
