Bryan Police Investigating The Murder Of A Brenham Man

Bryan police is investigating a murder on the city’s west side.

A BPD news release says officers responded Monday (September 29) just after six a.m. to a report of shots fired on Jaguar Drive, which is south of the westside Walmart store.

A Brenham man, 27 year old Debrandon Charles, died at a local hospital.

The news release did not say if anyone has been arrested.

News release from Bryan police:
On September 29, 2025, at 6:10 a.m., Bryan Police responded to the 2400 block of Jaguar Dr. regarding shots fired.

Upon officers’ arrival, they located a male victim sustaining injury from gunshot wounds.

Life saving measures were immediately rendered to the victim by officers on scene.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

This investigation is active and ongoing, and it appears this is an isolated incident at this time.
