Bryan police received three reports this week of armed robberies at local apartments that investigators believe to be drug related. The first was Tuesday night just after ten at the Z-Islander apartments on Wellborn Road. The second was Wednesday afternoon just before two at the Camber Villa apartments on Nash Street. The third was Wednesday night around 7:30 at the South College Townhomes. BPD reports In one of the three holdups, the victim said they knew the suspects and did not want to press charges.
A Bryan apartment complex notified police that someone tried to enter three vacant units on Monday. Nothing was reported missing from the Broadmoor Apartments at Broadmoor and Briarcrest. Total property damage was estimated at $325 dollars. Forced entry was made into one unit, no force was seen to enter a second, and an attempt to enter a third unit was not successful.
