A Bryan man convicted of drunk driving four times and is awaiting trial from a DWI arrest in April of 2023 returns to jail on another DWI charge.
The Bryan police arrest report says an officer saw a SUV run two stop signs and drove about four blocks before stopping.
54 year old Anthony Bowers Jr. was arrested after failing field sobriety tests for DWI, fleeing, and failing to stop at a stop sign.
Bowers was released from jail after posting bonds totaling $10,215 dollars.
The BPD arrest report says Bowers was convicted of DWI three times in 2014 and once in 2018.
In addition to Bowers DWI indictment from 2023, he is also awaiting trial from an arrest in July 2024 on charges of driving with an invalid license and resisting arrest.
