Bryan Police Catch Juveniles In Vehicles Not Belonging To Them

Bryan police spent much of Wednesday night tracking down vehicles that were stolen by juveniles who found unattended cars with the engine running.

Officer Kelley McKethan says a 15 year old is accused of taking a Mustang that was left running at the EnVue Apartments near 29th and Barak. He was arrested and a 15 year-old passenger was released to a parent.

Another juvenile is being sought in the theft of a Cadillac from the Handi Stop convenience store on North Texas that was recovered in a vacant field.

And a BPD officer stopping a car driving at night without headlights learned it was being driven by a 14 year old young man. The car belonged to the parents of a 14 year old who was a passenger. The parents did not know their car was taken. Both of those teens were released to their parents.
