College Station Police made an arrest following a hit-and-run crash Friday night.

CSPD was called to Longmire Drive and Rock Prairie Road just after 9pm on July 10, 2026, when a woman says a pickup ran a red light and collided with her vehicle.

The driver of the pickup, 63-year-old Sandra Jennings Huddleston, left the scene unaware that her license plate came off in the crash.

According to arrest reports, when officers arrived at Huddleston’s home a short time later, she admitted to being involved in the crash, and said she did not think she did anything wrong by leaving the scene. The officers report that her speech was slurred and she smelled of alcoholic beverages. A field sobriety test was initiated, which she failed.

Huddleston was arrested for driving while intoxicated and failure to stop and provide information after a crash resulting in at least $200 worth of damage.

She is out on $7,000 bond.
