Bryan police undercover officers arrested seven men last Friday (July 25) on prostitution charges.

The arrests at an unidentified hotel began Friday morning and continued late into the evening.

BPD arrest reports say advertisements were placed on websites associated with that kind of activity.

All of the men are accused of calling a BPD phone number to make a reservation and paid $100 or $150 dollars.

Two of the seven were also held for immigration authorities. 40 year old Javier Delgado-Rodriguez of Bryan was released to ICE agents while 36 year old Jeremias Tumax-Aguilar remained in jail as of July 28.

Five others are out of jail after posting $5,000 dollar bonds. They are 17 year old Edwin Garcia of North Zulch, 24 year old Ivan Trejos of Katy, 26 year old Jakob Kirby of Baytown, 34 year old Tomas Rodriguez-Palafox of College Station, and 57 year old Arthur Maldonado of Bryan.
