A College Station man remains jailed in lieu of bonds totaling $106,000 dollars following his arrest by Bryan police last week on what turned out to be 14 charges. According to the BPD arrest report, 18 year old Brennan Chismar is one of four people men who were banging on the door of a home in the midnight hour. Officers found in the car associated with the group, two loaded pistols and a loaded shotgun. Chismar was arrested on charges of evading officers, unlawful carrying of a weapon and theft of a firearm. He is also being held on drug charges from an arrest in January, drug charges and evading arrest from last December, and drugs, weapons, and drunk driving charges from last October.
A shoplifting arrest at the west Bryan Wal-Mart Tuesday night led to the arrest of a Bryan man on 11 charges. 24 year old Tyler Waggoner was also arrested on warrants charging him with thefts last September, October, and November from the College Station Target and four warrants on misdemeanor charges from January of last year. According to the Bryan police arrest report, Waggoner told officers there was a handgun in his SUV that turned out to be stolen. Waggoner remains jailed in lieu of bonds totaling more than $19,000 dollars.
A Bryan man awaiting trials on four drugs and weapons charges from last November faces six new charges from an arrest last Sunday. That’s after Bryan police stopped a car driving at midnight without its lights on. Officers picking up the aroma of burnt K-2 led to searching the car and finding 785 Alprazolam pills, 12 Clonazepam pills, less than one gram of methamphetamine, and $411 dollars cash. 22 year old Zohaib Ayub was arrested on the new drug charges, unlawful carrying of a weapon, and being in violation of a protection order for having the gun. Ayub remains jailed in lieu of bonds totaling $131,000 thousand dollars.
