Bryan Police Arrest Four Men On Weapons Charges Following Neighborhood Gunfire Report

Bryan police responding to a report of gunfire Wednesday night near Bob Bond Park northwest of Blinn College resulted in four arrests.

All four are accused of stealing guns and unlawfully carrying the weapons.

BPD reports no one was injured after multiple shots were heard in the area of Woodbine Court and Burleson. No explanation has been given about what led to the gunfire.

One of several vehicles witnesses saw pulling away was stopped by police on Yellowstone.

According to the arrest report, 18 year old Jairus Johnson of College Station had a custom handgun that was taken during an armed robbery last Sunday afternoon at a home near Bonham Park on Russell Street.

Also arrested on weapons charges and misdemeanor possession of marijuana were 17 year old Kaden Luna and 19 year old Jaden Luna of Bryan and a 16 year old young man.

Johnson and the two Luna’s are out of jail after posting bond.
