A woman whose car was blocked in by a minivan called police when she realized the driver was masturbating. The incident occurred around 7 Wednesday morning northeast of the Boonville Cemetery on Western Street. The suspect immediately drove away, but about an hour later a female jogger reported that she was being followed by someone who exposed himself to her. Police released a suspect description.

Just before eight that evening a homeowner on north of Austins Colony told police they saw the suspect sitting in their back yard. The homeowner asked him a few questions but the suspect walked off into the woods. A short time later and a block away, the suspect knocked on the back door of a University Police officer asking for help with his car. The officer recognized the suspect from the description, and directed him to the front door, while he called police.

Calvin Coffer, a 23-year-old College Station, man was arrested for trespass, and subsequently charged with one count each of indecent exposure and driving with an invalid license. Officer Kelley McKethan says the information from the jogger was insufficient to secure a second indecent exposure charge.
