A College Station woman is accused of using a shovel to pound her estranged husband’s car, her mother-in-law’s car, then threatening to hit her mother in law.
According to the Bryan police arrest report, officers saw video showing 28 year old Zunika Penland making the threat and causing a combined $9,000 dollars damage to the cars.
The shovel was found in Penland’s car, and she admitted to causing the damage.
The ex told police the disturbance was related to a custody battle involving their children.
Penland, who was arrested Wednesday evening for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and criminal mischief, was still in jail Friday afternoon in lieu of bonds totaling $35,000 dollars.
