Bryan PD Riding Trains Tuesday

It’s been six months and one death since Bryan Police officers rode trains through town.

Tuesday, cops will be riding trains looking for traffic violations.

The last time this was done, in September 2010, 34 tickets were written. And in January a local man walking on tracks and was struck and killed by an engine.

Sergeant Jeff Peters says one of the primary infractions is stopping on the tracks.

The fine for stopping on the tracks is $300 dollars.
