Bryan Police ran into some difficulty serving arrest warrants on a man who didn’t want to go to jail.

Two Bryan policemen were tackled and two police vehicles cars were damaged according to Officer Jon Agnew before 21 year old Curtis McCoy was transported.

McCoy was found inside a home at 1210 Florida attending a party.  Agnew says the officers were allowed inside and found McCoy hiding in a bedroom. McCoy is accused of tackling the officers in an attempt to get outside.

McCoy’s jail picture shows a knot on his forehead which officers say was the result of banging it on a police SUV and patrol car, creating dents in both vehicles.

The arrest warrants accused McCoy of a robbery in December 2011 and an assault the month before. The new charges include resisting arrest and criminal mischief.

McCoy is held in the Brazos County Jail on bonds totaling $100,350 dollars.
