Bryan PD Arrests For Animal Cruelty And Taking A Car With Two Dogs

A Bryan woman was arrested last weekend on an animal cruelty charge. According to Bryan police, they found a dog that was…quoting…”extremely emaciated, having a severe skin infection, and an abnormal gate.” According to the arrest report, the year old boxer mix named Rocky was euthanized five days after police took the dog to a veterinarian. 40 year old Bercely Rosales told police the dog had been displaying symptoms for 20 to 25 days, and they were treating the dog by putting Pedialyte in his water and feeding him human food. Rosales is out of jail after posting a $4,000 dollar bond.

Two hours after a car with two dogs was reported stolen from the west Bryan Wal-Mart, police found the car and one of the dogs outside the Stripes convenience store at South College and Carson. According to the arrest report, a chihuahua was still in the car but a pit bull puppy had been sold for drug money. Officers later found the pit bull and was returned to the owner. Two Bryan women, 28 year old Tyshekia Henderson and 38 year old Tamara Jones, were arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, theft with prior convictions, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
