A Bryan man is booked in the Brazos County jail for the 14th time in just over two years.

A Bryan police report states it is the sixth time in the last 13 months that 31 year old John Nobles was arrested from criminal trespassing at the same location.

And after Nobles was booked Saturday morning during the noon hour, later in the day he was struck in the face multiple times with a closed fist by another inmate.

That led to the arrest of 27 year old Raymond Keith Green on a charge of assault causing bodily injury.

According to the Brazos County sheriff’s arrest report, Green and Nobles were in the booking area sitting across from each other when Green got up, approached Nobles unprovoked, and began striking Nobles.

Green had been arrested earlier in the day by College Station police on a public intoxication charge and three warrants from Harris County.

Green is out of jail after posting bonds totaling $19,300 dollars, while Nobles remained in jail Monday afternoon in lieu of a $2,000 dollar bond.
