Bryan police arrest a local man Wednesday night after he kicks in the front door to enter his ex-girlfriend’s apartment.

That was after she placed a bed frame in front of the door. According to the BPD arrest report, 27 year old Sharvarus White punched the woman…causing her to fall.

Then he grabbed their one year old daughter by her arm and hit the woman while she was still on the floor as he left the apartment.

BPD reports the child was returned unharmed and the woman was treated at the scene for her injuries.

White, who is also accused of taking the woman’s gun the day before, remained in jail Friday morning in lieu of bonds totaling $16,000 dollars.

The Bryan man was arrested on charges of burglary with the intent to assault and unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
