A Bryan man is accused of cashing a paycheck that was 100 times more than he was supposed to receive.
Last February, a paycheck that was supposed to be $992.75 was mistakenly written for $99,275 dollars.
The employer went to police after failing to convince 35 year old Cesar Saldivar to return the money to avoid legal action.
Saldivar told the employer he did not do anything wrong and he did not have all the money.
$44,605.13 went to the federal government for income taxes and social security.
The rest was placed in a bank account, but detectives determined there was not enough left to pursue a seizure.
Saldivar is out of jail after posting a $10,000 dollar bond.
