When this year’s seventh graders in the Bryan school district start high school, there will be new rules on how they are graded.
Preliminary approval was given Monday by the Bryan school board changing how GPA’s and class rank are calculated.
Starting with freshmen at Bryan and Rudder HIgh in the 2013-14 school year, classes for state credits will not be weighted while others will be weighted.
Superintendent Tommy Wallis noted the importance of communicating the new rules to parents.
