Bryan High Student Arrested For Making A Terroristic Threat Against Another Student

A 15 year old Bryan High school student went to juvenile detention Friday after his arrest by Bryan police on a charge of making a terroristic threat against another student.

Sergeant Ryan Bona says officers responded around 10 a.m. to a call from Bryan High staff.

Bona says an Airsoft gun, which resembles a real gun, was recovered.

Bona says their investigation at this time shows the threat was only against another student and not the school at large.

Bona says he did not know where on campus the arrest was made or if the school was locked down.

A statement from Bryan ISD contained no additional information about the circumstances of the incident.

When WTAW News asked a Bryan school spokesman if there was a lockdown and where on campus did the arrest took place, he said his statement stood for itself.
