Bryan Council Votes ‘No’ on Land Deal

The Bryan City Council voted no Tuesday night to a Twin Oaks Landfill wetland mitigation credit proposal negotiated by College Station.

The construction of the new landfill requires Bryan and College Station to either create a new wetland area or to purchase credits.

College Station had approved the purchase of just under 60 acres in the Bryan ETJ that would have qualified to cover the mitigation requirement.
