The Bryan city council has not reached a decision on closing at least two railroad crossings.
At least two members want to go back to their districts and share information given during a workshop on Tuesday.
Single member district one councilman Reuben Marin was not ready to say whether railroad crossings at Groesbeck should be closed or if the street should be rebuilt with traffic signals and new crossing arms.
Marin and district two councilman Prentiss Madison wanted to gauge opinions on the costs to create the quiet zone. Madison also wanted feedback on the proposed closing of a railroad crossing on East 15th.
The council learned their railroad quiet zone advisory committee voted 6-0 to recommend closing railroad crossings at East 15th and Reed Street, but was split 3-3 whether to close the crossing at Groesbeck.
