Bryan Council Approves Seed Money For New Mexican-American Museum

Efforts are underway for another museum in Bryan.

The city council this week approved spending up to $100,000 dollars in hotel occupancy tax money to create a Mexican-American museum.

Spokeswoman Mary Cruz Morales thanked the council for their support, along with the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum and other organizations.

The contribution is equal to what the council awarded to organizers of the Brazos Valley African-American Museum.
