Bryan Council Approves Rezoning For SOS Ministries Future Expansion

The Bryan city council, with no discussion, unanimously approved three rezoning requests at Tuesday’s meeting.

One involves a future expansion of SOS Ministries.

Founder J.J. Ramirez says a new home, workshop, and storage will be built as private contributions are received.

Ramirez told the planning and zoning commission last month that he has met with the Texas Workforce Commission about a vocational program for at-risk young people and adults.
