Bryan Council Approves Condos at The Traditions

The next step in developing The Traditions area of west Bryan was approved at this week’s city council meeting.

Mayor Jason Bienski says the city will generate more property tax revenue from the building of 38 condos on a small parcel of land (.741 acres) versus one estate home.

Bienski says the condos, projected to open by the start of football season, have a price range from the low $300,000’s to over one million dollars.

Property tax revenue generated by the condos will initially go towards paying off improvements at the development, then will go into the city’s general fund.

Jason Bienski visits with WTAW’s Bill Oliver.
