The 101st year of the Bryan/College Station chamber of commerce was celebrated at Monday night’s annual banquet.
Chamber president Glen Brewer announced another record year, including a banquet crowd of 550.
Brewer also announced the chamber ambassador of the year was Katerina Hall of Baylor Scott & White hospital.
And as previously announced, Citizen of the year Randy French and volunteer of the year Debbie Holliday were recognized.
The banquet speaker, Texas A&M system chancellor John Sharp, reviewed what has happened the last eight years and looked ahead to future projects and goals.
That was followed by remarks from the chamber board’s past chairwoman Vicki Reim and new board chairman Phil Shackelford.
